Thumbprint Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 cup salted butter, softened.
03 - 1 cup white sugar.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
05 - 1 large egg.
06 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract.
07 - 1 cup jam (strawberry, raspberry, or preferred flavor).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 325°F.
02 - Cream butter, sugar, and baking powder until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
03 - Mix in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
04 - Gradually mix in flour on low speed, avoid overmixing.
05 - Roll into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet 1 inch apart.
06 - Create indentation in center of each cookie with thumb or tool.
07 - Spoon about 1 teaspoon jam into each well.
08 - Bake 20 minutes, rotating pan halfway through.
