# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup melted butter, unsalted (brownie layer).
02 - 1 cup white sugar.
03 - 2 large eggs.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
06 - ½ cup plain flour (brownie layer).
07 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
08 - ¼ teaspoon baking powder.
09 - ½ cup soft butter (cookie layer).
10 - ½ cup packed brown sugar.
11 - ¼ cup white sugar (cookie layer).
12 - 2 tablespoons milk.
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla (cookie layer).
14 - 1 cup plain flour (cookie layer).
15 - ½ cup chocolate chips.
16 - ½ cup melted chocolate chips for topping.
17 - Extra chocolate chips for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F and line 8-inch square pan with parchment, leaving overhang.
02 - Whisk melted butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
03 - Sift in cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder, mix until just combined.
04 - Pour into pan and bake 20-25 minutes until done, then cool completely.
05 - Beat soft butter with both sugars until fluffy, add milk and vanilla.
06 - Mix in flour until dough forms, then stir in chocolate chips.
07 - Spread cookie dough over cooled brownies and chill 30 minutes.
08 - Top with melted chocolate and extra chips, then cut when set.
