Danish Pastries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box (2 sheets) puff pastry dough, thawed.
02 - 8 oz cream cheese.
03 - 1 tablespoon sour cream.
04 - 3 tablespoons granulated sugar.
05 - 2 teaspoons lime juice.
06 - Zest of 1 lime.
07 - 2½ teaspoons Mexican vanilla or vanilla extract.
08 - Fresh blueberries.
09 - Fresh strawberries, halved.
10 - 3 tablespoons melted butter.
11 - Sanding sugar.
12 - Extra lime zest for garnish (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F.
02 - Cut 4 rounds from each pastry sheet.
03 - Score rounds with smaller cutter.
04 - Place on lined baking sheets.
05 - Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, lime juice, zest, vanilla.
06 - Place 2 tablespoons filling in each round.
07 - Spread leaving ¼-inch rim.
08 - Top half with blueberries.
09 - Top half with strawberries.
10 - Bake 15-16 minutes until golden.
11 - Cool to room temperature.
12 - Garnish with lime zest if desired.
