Cream Cheese Jam Pinwheel Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened.
03 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 2¼ cups all-purpose flour.
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
07 - ½ cup jam (raspberry, strawberry or apricot).
08 - Powdered sugar for dusting (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla.
02 - Mix in flour and salt until soft dough forms.
03 - Split dough, shape into disks, wrap and chill 30 minutes.
04 - Roll each disk into 12x10-inch rectangle, spread with jam leaving border.
05 - Roll into logs, wrap and chill 15-20 minutes.
06 - Slice into ¼-inch rounds, bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until edges golden.

02 - Don't overfill with jam.
