Creamy Broccoli Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 4 tablespoons butter
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
03 - ½ pound medium pasta shells

→ Sauce

04 - 2 cups chicken broth
05 - 1¼ cups half and half
06 - ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
07 - 2 teaspoons lemon juice

→ Vegetables & Seasonings

08 - 3½ cups broccoli florets, uncooked
09 - ¼ teaspoon each: onion powder, dried thyme, salt
10 - ½ teaspoon each: dried oregano, dried parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Measure all ingredients and cut broccoli into small pieces
02 - Melt butter and cook garlic 1 minute. Add broth, half and half, and seasonings
03 - Add pasta when liquid boils. Cover partially and cook per package instructions. Add broccoli in last 6 minutes
04 - Remove from heat, add lemon juice and gently stir in Parmesan. Sauce will thicken as it stands

# Notes:

01 - Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting
02 - Can substitute similar-sized pasta
03 - Keeps 3 days refrigerated or 3 months frozen
