Creamy Cajun Linguine (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 oz. linguine.
02 - 2 tablespoons butter.
03 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic.
04 - 1 tablespoon minced shallot.
05 - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasonings.
06 - 1/4 cup white wine.
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
08 - 1/3 cup heavy cream.
09 - 1/3 cup half and half.
10 - 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan.
11 - Black pepper to taste.
12 - Chopped chives/green onions for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain.
02 - Melt butter and cook shallot, garlic, and cajun seasonings for 1 minute.
03 - Pour in wine and cook 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
04 - Add lemon juice and cook 1 minute.
05 - Stir in both creams and cook 4-5 minutes. Simmer 1-2 minutes to thicken.
06 - Remove from heat, stir in parmesan and pepper. Toss with pasta and garnish.

# Notes:

01 - Can increase cream amounts for more sauce.
02 - Cajun seasoning contains salt, only add extra pepper if needed.
