Creamy Cucumber Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salad Base

01 - 2 English cucumbers
02 - ½ red onion, optional

→ Creamy Dressing

03 - ½ cup sour cream
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill
05 - 2 tablespoons white vinegar
06 - ½ teaspoon salt
07 - ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Peel the cucumbers and cut them into thin slices. Place the slices in a large bowl.
02 - In a separate small bowl, mix together the sour cream, dill, vinegar, salt, sugar, and garlic powder until well combined.
03 - Pour the creamy dressing over the cucumber slices and mix until everything is well coated. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving to let the flavors blend together.
04 - Serve the salad cold as a refreshing side dish.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use a mandoline or sharp knife to get evenly thin cucumber slices.
02 - The salad gets better after sitting in the fridge - the cucumbers release their juices and blend with the dressing.
03 - If adding red onion, slice it very thinly so it doesn't overpower the delicate cucumber flavor.
