Creamy Mushroom Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound fresh mushrooms (brown or cremini).
02 - 2 tablespoons butter.
03 - 2 medium onions, finely chopped.
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
05 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
06 - 2 cups stock (chicken, beef, or vegetable).
07 - 1 cup heavy cream.
08 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
09 - Salt and pepper to taste.
10 - Fresh parsley for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Clean mushrooms and slice them.
02 - Chop onions and mince garlic.
03 - Melt butter in large pot over medium heat.
04 - Add onions and garlic, cook until soft.
05 - Add mushrooms and thyme.
06 - Cook 5-7 minutes until mushrooms release moisture.
07 - Sprinkle flour over mixture, stir well.
08 - Slowly pour in stock while stirring.
09 - Cook until mixture thickens.
10 - Stir in heavy cream.
11 - Simmer 5-7 minutes more.
12 - Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
