Put bacon in cold skillet and turn heat to high. Cook 2-3 minutes until golden. Remove with slotted spoon.

Leave 1.5 tablespoons bacon fat in pan, discard rest.

Cook garlic 10-15 seconds until light golden.

Add beans, stir to coat in fat.

Add stock, cover, and simmer 3 minutes until beans are tender-crisp and bright green.

Add cream, parmesan, and pepper. Simmer 2 minutes until sauce thickens.

Taste for salt, then transfer to bowl and top with bacon.
