Easter Egg Fruit Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 1 package sugar cookie dough mix

→ Frosting

02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 6 tablespoons butter, softened
04 - 2 cups confectioner's sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - Pinch of salt

→ Toppings

07 - Assorted berries and fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwis, mandarin oranges)

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare sugar cookie dough according to package. Roll to 1/4 inch thick and cut egg shapes.
02 - Bake according to package directions. Cool completely on rack.
03 - Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add vanilla, salt, and gradually mix in powdered sugar.
04 - Chop fruits into small pieces, pat dry if needed.
05 - Spread thick layer of frosting on cookies, top with prepared fruit.

01 - Add fruit just before serving
02 - Pat fruit dry to prevent soggy cookies
03 - Can use homemade cookie dough
