Spray 11x7 or 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.

Mix 2 cups sugar and all other ingredients in large saucepan, let rest 1 minute.

Boil over medium heat while stirring constantly.

Boil for 1 minute then pour into greased dish.

Cool at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Refrigerate for 3 hours until firm.

Prepare cutting board with parchment paper and sugar.

Loosen mixture with metal spatula and transfer to board.

Cut shapes with mini cookie cutters.

Let gumdrops sit overnight (minimum 8 hours).

Roll each piece in remaining sugar until coated.
