French Bread Pizza (Print Version)

French bread quarters spread with garlic herb butter, toasted, then topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni, baked until golden and bubbly.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Herb Butter

01 - 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
02 - Half bunch fresh parsley, finely chopped
03 - 3 cloves garlic, grated

→ For the Pizza

04 - 1 loaf French bread, quartered
05 - 12 oz pizza sauce (more if you'd like)
06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 8 oz sliced pepperoni (or your favorite toppings)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
02 - In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, chopped parsley, and grated garlic until well combined.
03 - Slice the French bread loaf into quarters. Spread the herb butter mixture generously on each piece of bread.
04 - Bake the buttered bread at 350 degrees for 5 minutes to get it slightly toasted.
05 - Increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees. Spread pizza sauce on each piece of bread, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings).
06 - Bake at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is toasted to your liking.
07 - Let cool for a minute or two, then slice and serve hot. This is such a fun twist on classic pizza!

# Notes:

01 - The garlic herb butter makes this so much better than plain French bread pizza!
02 - You can use any pizza toppings you like - mushrooms, bell peppers, sausage, olives, whatever!
03 - Toasting the bread first with the herb butter keeps it from getting soggy.
04 - This is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or fun party food.
05 - Each quarter makes a generous serving - you might even want to cut them in half for appetizer portions.
