Honey Crullers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup water.
02 - 6 tablespoons butter.
03 - 2 tablespoons sugar.
04 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
05 - 3 eggs.
06 - Vegetable oil for frying.
07 - 1½ cups powdered sugar.
08 - 1 tablespoon honey.
09 - 4 tablespoons milk.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil water, butter, and sugar in saucepan.
02 - Add flour, whisk to combine.
03 - Cook with wooden spoon until dough dries.
04 - Transfer to stand mixer with paddle.
05 - Cool slightly while mixing.
06 - Add eggs one at a time until combined.
07 - Put dough in piping bag with star tip and pipe rings onto 3x3 parchment squares.
08 - Heat oil to 375°F.
09 - Fry donuts paper side up and remove paper with tongs once it separates.
10 - Fry until deep golden on both sides.
11 - Cool on rack or paper towels.
12 - Mix glaze ingredients in bowl.
13 - Dip cooled crullers in glaze and let set on wire rack.

# Notes:

01 - The dough must be dried well on stove for proper texture.
02 - Test first donut for doneness and adjust timing.
03 - Best eaten same day they're made.
