Mix melted butter and crushed garlic in a small bowl until well combined.

Using a sharp bread knife, cut diagonal rows across the bread top, stopping 1-inch above the base. Then cut rows in the opposite direction to create diamond shapes, being careful not to cut through the bottom.

Place bread on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.

Drizzle half the garlic butter between wedges, followed by pizza sauce. Layer in onions, tomatoes, pepperoni, basil, and cheese.

Pour remaining garlic butter over top and sprinkle with Italian herbs.
