Cheesy Pull Apart Pizza Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread & Butter Base

01 - 1 loaf Pane Di Casa, Vienna or Sourdough bread, unsliced
02 - ⅔ cup butter, melted
03 - 4 cloves garlic, crushed (or 1 tablespoon minced garlic)

→ Fillings & Toppings

04 - ⅓ cup pizza sauce
05 - ¼ red onion, finely chopped
06 - 1 large ripe tomato, finely chopped
07 - 3½ ounces mini pepperoni slices
08 - Fresh basil leaves, finely shredded
09 - ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs or Italian seasoning

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F (176°C).
02 - Mix melted butter and crushed garlic in a small bowl until well combined.
03 - Using a sharp bread knife, cut diagonal rows across the bread top, stopping 1-inch above the base. Then cut rows in the opposite direction to create diamond shapes, being careful not to cut through the bottom.
04 - Place bread on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
05 - Drizzle half the garlic butter between wedges, followed by pizza sauce. Layer in onions, tomatoes, pepperoni, basil, and cheese.
06 - Pour remaining garlic butter over top and sprinkle with Italian herbs.
07 - Cover with foil and bake 15-20 minutes until cheese starts melting.
08 - Uncover and bake 10 more minutes until bread is crunchy and cheese is fully melted.
