Garlic Butter Steak Bites (Print Version)

Bite-sized steak pieces seasoned and seared, then tossed in melted butter with fresh garlic and parsley.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Steak Bites

01 - 2 (8 oz) filets or sirloins, chopped into bite-sized pieces (New York Strip or Flat Iron also work well)
02 - 1 teaspoon avocado oil (just enough to coat the pan)
03 - 2 teaspoons steak seasoning (Kinder's Steak Blend or your favorite)
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ For the Garlic Butter

07 - 4 tablespoons Kerrygold butter (or any good quality butter)
08 - 6 to 7 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Place the steak cubes in a bowl. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with the steak seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Toss to coat all the pieces evenly.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a light coating of avocado oil. You want the pan nice and hot for a good sear.
03 - Add the steak cubes in a single layer - don't overcrowd the pan. Sear for 1 to 2 minutes per side, about 3 to 4 minutes total for medium-rare. The outside should be nicely browned. Remove the steak bites from the pan and set aside.
04 - Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped parsley and sauté for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant - don't let the garlic burn!
05 - Return the steak bites to the pan and toss quickly to coat them in the garlic butter, then remove from heat immediately. Serve hot while they're juicy and delicious!

# Notes:

01 - Don't overcrowd the pan - cook in batches if needed so the steak sears instead of steaming.
02 - The total cooking time depends on how done you like your steak. 3-4 minutes is for medium-rare.
03 - Use good quality butter - it makes a difference in the garlic butter sauce!
04 - Don't let the garlic burn when making the sauce - it gets bitter. Keep the heat at medium.
05 - Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter.
