Garlic Parmesan Healthy Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Marinade

01 - 1 pound chicken breast tenderloins, cut into bite-size pieces
02 - 1 tablespoon garlic pepper seasoning
03 - 2 tablespoons (15g) reduced-fat grated parmesan cheese
04 - 1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

→ Pasta and Sauce

05 - 1 bag (8.5 oz) rotini pasta
06 - 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
07 - 2 tablespoons garlic pepper seasoning
08 - 1 tablespoon sugar substitute (stevia or Swerve)
09 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Mix garlic pepper, parmesan, and red pepper in a bag. Add chicken pieces, coat well, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
02 - Heat skillet with cooking spray over medium-high. Add chicken, cook 4 minutes, flip, cook 2-3 minutes more until done
03 - Mix tomato sauce with garlic pepper, sweetener, and red pepper in a bowl
04 - Prepare pasta according to package directions
05 - Add pasta and sauce to chicken, simmer until warm and well mixed

# Notes:

01 - Alternative marinade: Use 3 tbsp Nando's Peri-Peri Garlic sauce and 1/4 cup parmesan
02 - Can substitute jarred pasta sauce for homemade sauce mixture
