Garlic Parmesan Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter.
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
03 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour.
04 - ¾ cup 2% milk.
05 - ½ cup grated parmesan cheese.
06 - ¼ teaspoon kosher salt.
07 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
08 - 1 large pizza dough, room temperature.
09 - 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded.
10 - ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning.
11 - ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chiffonade.

# Instructions:

01 - Place stone in lower third of oven, heat to 550°F for 30 minutes.
02 - Sauté garlic in butter 2 minutes, whisk in flour for roux. Add milk, simmer 5 minutes, stir in parmesan and seasonings.
03 - Stretch dough on parchment, spread ½-¾ cup sauce leaving border, top with cheese and seasoning.
04 - Slide onto stone, bake 8-10 minutes until cheese bubbles and browns.
05 - Remove to cooling rack, add basil, rest 10 minutes before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Can use baking sheet instead of stone.
02 - Makes ¾ cup sauce - adjust amount to taste.
03 - Stores 4 days refrigerated, 2 months frozen.
