# Ingredients:

01 - 2 Honeycrisp apples, sliced.
02 - 3 tbsp salted butter.
03 - 3 tbsp maple syrup.
04 - 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed.
05 - 1 wheel brie (8-12 oz).
06 - 2 tbsp apple butter or fig preserves.
07 - 1 beaten egg (for brushing).
08 - Coarse sugar (for sprinkling).
09 - Fresh thyme (for garnish).

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure a golden, flaky pastry.
02 - Toss the sliced apples with butter and maple syrup. Roast for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and caramelized.
03 - Place the thawed puff pastry on a baking sheet. Cut a small section of brie rind to expose the cheese. Spread apple butter or fig preserves over the top of the brie.
04 - Fold the puff pastry over the brie, sealing the edges tightly. Brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sugar for a crisp finish.
05 - Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
