01 -
Preheat oven to 400°F. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add trimmed green beans and cook for 5-6 minutes until crisp-tender. Immediately transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop cooking and preserve the bright green color. Drain well.
02 -
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, garlic seasoning, and soy sauce until it forms a thick, paste-like consistency. Set aside.
03 -
Gather 5-7 green beans into small bundles. Wrap each bundle with a half slice of bacon, securing the beans together. The bacon should wrap around snugly but not too tight.
04 -
Place the bacon-wrapped bundles on a rimmed baking sheet or in an oven-safe skillet. Sprinkle each bundle with a little extra garlic seasoning for added flavor.
05 -
Brush or spoon the brown sugar glaze over each bundle, making sure to coat them well. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
06 -
Let the bundles rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. The glaze will thicken slightly as it cools. Serve hot as an elegant side dish.
