# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 large egg yolk
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
05 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

→ Filling

06 - 1/2 cup strawberry jam (or your favorite flavor)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
02 - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy
03 - Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract until everything is well combined
04 - Gradually add the flour and mix until it forms a smooth dough
05 - Roll small portions of dough into balls, flatten slightly, then pinch the top to create heart shapes
06 - Using your thumb or a small spoon, make a dip in the center of each heart-shaped cookie
07 - Fill each indentation with a small spoonful of jam
08 - Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges turn slightly golden
09 - Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet before serving or gifting
