Honey Pepper Chicken Mac and Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 ounces spiral noodles.
02 - 25 ounces breaded chicken strips.
03 - 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled.
04 - 3/4 cup honey.
05 - 1/4 cup brown sugar.
06 - 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce.
07 - 1/4 cup pineapple juice.
08 - 1 lemon, juiced.
09 - 1 tablespoon vinegar.
10 - 1 teaspoon black pepper.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
12 - 1 stick butter.
13 - 2 cups heavy cream.
14 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded.
15 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded.
16 - 3/4 cup colby jack cheese, shredded.
17 - 2-3 cloves garlic, minced.
18 - Fresh basil.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook chicken strips according to package. Cook pasta according to directions.
02 - Mix honey sauce ingredients in saucepan. Boil then simmer 15 minutes until thickened.
03 - Melt butter and cream. Gradually stir in cheeses and garlic until smooth.
04 - Toss pasta with cheese sauce and bacon. Coat chicken in honey sauce.
05 - Top pasta with glazed chicken, basil and extra bacon if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Use freshly shredded cheese for smoothest sauce.
02 - Honey sauce can be made ahead.
