Hot Ham Cheese Pinwheels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough.
02 - 8 slices deli ham.
03 - 8 slices Swiss cheese.
04 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional).
05 - 1 tablespoon butter, melted.
06 - 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the crescent dough on your counter. Push the seams together to make one flat sheet.
03 - Spread mustard over the dough if using. Layer ham slices across the whole surface, then top with cheese slices.
04 - Roll the dough into a log from the long side. Cut into 1-inch thick slices.
05 - Put pinwheels on your lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
06 - Slide into the oven and bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown with bubbly cheese.

# Notes:

01 - Try honey mustard or mayo instead of Dijon.
02 - Works with any cheese - try cheddar or pepper jack.
03 - Keeps in the fridge for 2 days.
