Jamaican Sorrel Drink

# Ingredients:

3 cups dried sorrel (hibiscus).

3/4 pound fresh ginger, grated.

10 whole cloves.
04 -
10 allspice berries.
05 -
2 1/2 cups sugar.
# Instructions:

Boil water. Add sorrel, ginger, cloves, allspice for 8 minutes.
02 -
Cool and refrigerate 8 hours to 3 days.
03 -
Filter through fine mesh strainer, pressing solids.
04 -
Make simple syrup. Add gradually to taste.

Use box grater for ginger.

Keeps 5 days refrigerated.
