Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente, drain and lay on clean towel.

Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, basil, seasonings, salt and pepper. Add meat if using.

Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in 9x13-inch baking dish.

Spread 2-3 tablespoons cheese mixture on each noodle. Roll up tightly and place seam-side down in dish.

Pour remaining marinara over rolls. Sprinkle with ½ cup mozzarella.

Cover with foil, bake 25 minutes. Uncover, bake 5 more minutes until bubbly. Rest before serving.
