Lavender Lemonade (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 cups water, divided.
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1/4 cup honey.
04 - 3 tablespoons dried culinary lavender.
05 - 2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 10-12 lemons).
06 - Blue or purple food coloring (optional).
07 - Lemon slices for garnish.
08 - Extra lavender sprigs for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix 2 cups water and sugar in a pot over medium heat until boiling and sugar dissolves.
02 - Turn off heat and stir in honey and dried lavender.
03 - Let mixture steep for 2 hours.
04 - Strain the liquid, pressing lavender to release all flavors.
05 - In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, lavender mixture, and remaining 4 cups water.
06 - Add food coloring if desired.
07 - Serve over ice with lemon slices and lavender sprigs.

02 - Can be frozen into ice cubes.
