Layered Taco Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Layer

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning
03 - ½ cup water

→ Filling Layers

04 - 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
05 - 1 cup salsa
06 - 1 cup sour cream
07 - 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
08 - 6-8 flour tortillas (8-inch size)

→ Garnish

09 - ¼ cup sliced black olives
10 - ¼ cup chopped green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
02 - Brown ground beef, drain fat. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
03 - Spread refried beans on bottom of dish. Add layer of tortillas, trimming to fit.
04 - Layer half of beef mixture, salsa, sour cream, and half of cheese.
05 - Add another tortilla layer, remaining beef, salsa, and cheese.
06 - Cover with foil, bake 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes until cheese is bubbly.
07 - Garnish with black olives and green onions before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can trim tortillas to fit pan
02 - Similar to a Mexican lasagna
03 - Can customize toppings
