Lazy Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices Italian or sourdough bread
02 - 1 cooked breaded chicken patty or leftover chicken parmesan
03 - 2 slices mozzarella cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons marinara sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon butter, softened
06 - Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your skillet over medium heat. While it warms up, spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet. Layer with mozzarella, chicken patty, marinara sauce, and more mozzarella. Top with second bread slice, butter-side up.
03 - Cook until golden brown and cheese melts, about 3-4 minutes per side. If you like, sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Make it healthier by using whole grain bread and grilled chicken instead of breaded. Add fresh basil or garlic powder for extra flavor!
