Bacon Wrapped Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds carrots (under 1/2 inch thick), peeled.
02 - 1 pound thin-sliced bacon.
03 - 1/4 cup maple syrup.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F.
02 - Wrap each carrot with bacon strip, starting at the thick end.
03 - Place on wire rack over baking sheet.
04 - Bake 25 minutes until bacon starts crisping.
05 - Brush all sides with maple syrup.
06 - Bake 8-10 minutes more until bacon is golden and crispy.
07 - Serve warm.

01 - Use thin bacon for best crisping.
