01 - 24 plump Medjool dates, pitted
02 - 6 ounces creamy mascarpone cheese
03 - 1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons Grade A Dark Amber maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Position your oven rack at the very top and turn on the broiler to get it nice and hot.
02 - Make a lengthwise cut in each date and remove the pit, creating a perfect pocket for the filling.
03 - Carefully stuff each date with a generous amount of mascarpone cheese, then sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top of each one.
04 - Arrange the stuffed dates on a lined baking sheet and drizzle them with the maple syrup.
05 - Broil for about 3 minutes until they turn slightly golden. Keep a close eye on them - they can burn quickly!
