01 -
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and diced onions. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until the onions start to soften.
02 -
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until no pink is visible, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off any excess grease.
03 -
Season the cooked beef with onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
04 -
Add 1/2 cup of the chopped bacon, 30 slices of pepperoni, the marinara sauce, quick cook rice, and beef broth to the skillet. Stir everything together until well combined.
05 -
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then turn off the heat. The rice will continue to cook from the residual heat.
06 -
Top the skillet mixture with the shredded mozzarella cheese, remaining pepperoni slices, and remaining chopped bacon.
07 -
Transfer the skillet to a 350 degree oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
08 -
Remove from the oven and serve hot straight from the skillet. This hearty meat lover's pizza rice skillet is amazing!
