M&M Cupcakes Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 1½ cups all-purpose flour
02 - ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
05 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
06 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

07 - ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10 - ½ cup buttermilk

→ Mix-ins and Topping

11 - ½ cup M&Ms, plus extra for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line muffin tin with cupcake liners.
02 - Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in large bowl.
03 - In separate bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually stir in buttermilk.
04 - Slowly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until smooth. Gently fold in M&Ms.
05 - Divide batter among cupcake liners. Bake 18-20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
06 - Cool in tin 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack. Top with extra M&Ms once cool.
