Nutella Stuffed Cookie Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, browned
02 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar
03 - 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 cup chocolate chips

→ Filling

08 - 1/2 cup Nutella (or more as desired)

→ Topping (Optional)

09 - 1/4 cup extra chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir until golden and nutty. Let it cool completely.
02 - Whisk the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs together until light and fluffy.
03 - Mix the vanilla extract and cooled browned butter into the sugar mixture.
04 - Incorporate the flour slowly, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
05 - Gently fold the chocolate chips into the dough.
06 - Grease a pie dish or line it with parchment paper.
07 - Press half of the cookie dough into the base. Spread the Nutella over evenly. Top with the remaining dough, sealing the edges. Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips if desired.
08 - Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 35–40 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is slightly soft.
09 - Allow to cool for 20 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate if desired.
