One Pot Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 (13 ounce) package cajun andouille sausage, cut into coins
02 - 8 ounces dry bowtie pasta (about 2 cups)

→ Sauce Base

03 - 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
04 - ½ cup heavy cream
05 - 1 (10 ounce) can Rotel diced tomatoes and chilies

→ Seasonings & Cheese

06 - 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
07 - 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
08 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Brown sausage coins in large skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Remove to plate, keeping grease in pan
02 - Sauté garlic in sausage grease for 1 minute. Add broth, tomatoes, cream, and cajun seasoning
03 - Add dry pasta, cover, and simmer on low for about 14 minutes until pasta is cooked
04 - Return sausage to pan and stir in cheddar cheese until melted

# Notes:

01 - Can use mild sausage and tomatoes for less spice
02 - Can add vegetables like onions, peppers, or mushrooms
03 - Be careful with extra seasoning as sausage and broth contain salt
