Pecan Bark (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter.
02 - 1 cup brown sugar.
03 - 1 ½ cups toasted pecans, roughly chopped.
04 - 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white, as preferred).
05 - 1/4 tsp salt.
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
02 - In a medium saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Stir over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until smooth and bubbling.
03 - Remove from heat, add vanilla, and pour toffee mixture onto prepared baking sheet.
04 - Quickly sprinkle toasted pecans evenly over the toffee. Bake for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
05 - Remove from oven, cool for a minute, then melt chocolate chips and spread over toffee and pecans.
06 - Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 1 hour to harden.
07 - Break into pieces and enjoy!.
