Heat oven to 350°F.

Mix brownie batter according to package with water, oil, and eggs.

Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.

Whisk sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla in saucepan over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until thick.

Remove from heat, stir in pecans.

Pour pecan mixture over brownies.

Bake again 25 minutes until topping bubbles slightly.

Cool completely before cutting.
