Pineapple Cheese Casserole (Print Version)
A unique Southern casserole combining sweet pineapple, sharp cheddar, and buttery cracker topping. Perfect side dish for ham or holiday meals.
# Ingredients:

1 cup white sugar.

6 tablespoons all-purpose flour.

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar.

2 cans (20 oz each) pineapple chunks, drained.

6 tablespoons pineapple juice (reserved).

1 cup crushed butter crackers.

8 tablespoons melted butter.
# Instructions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease casserole dish.

Combine sugar, flour and cheese. Stir in drained pineapple.

Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and reserved juice.

Pour pineapple mix in dish. Top with crumb mixture.

Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
