01 -
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and position a rack in the middle. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or brush with cooking oil of choice.
02 -
If using store-bought pizza dough ball, roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle about ½” thick. If using a tube of Pillsbury pizza dough, unroll and place the dough on a lightly floured piece of parchment paper or kitchen counter.
03 -
Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the dough, followed by an even distribution of shredded mozzarella cheese.
04 -
Evenly distribute any pizza toppings of your choice (such as onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers) over the cheese. Lastly, add an even layer of pepperoni.
05 -
Use a knife or pizza cutter to make 12 evenly spaced markings along the long edge of the dough. Cut into 12 strips, then tightly roll each strip into a pizza roll and place in the prepared muffin tin.
06 -
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley (if using). Brush the garlic butter over the tops of each pizza roll.
07 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
08 -
Garnish the cooked pizza rolls with shredded parmesan cheese and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
