Pizza Stuffed Waffles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Waffle Batter

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
03 - 1 pinch salt
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2 tablespoons sugar
06 - 1/2 cup milk
07 - 1/4 cup vegetable oil
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Pizza Filling

09 - 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
10 - 50g sliced pepperoni
11 - 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
03 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Don't overmix - a few lumps are okay.
04 - Preheat waffle iron and lightly coat with cooking spray. Ladle batter into the waffle iron and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
05 - Remove waffles from iron and let cool slightly. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice each waffle in half horizontally to create top and bottom pieces.
06 - Spread pizza sauce evenly on the bottom half of each waffle. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese.
07 - Place the topped waffle halves under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
08 - Remove from broiler and carefully place the waffle top halves over the melted cheese and pepperoni. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

01 - Don't overmix the waffle batter to keep waffles light and fluffy
02 - You can customize with any pizza toppings you like
03 - Make sure waffles are fully cooked before slicing to prevent breaking
