Loaded Peanut Butter Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 3/4 cup softened unsalted butter
02 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 tablespoon honey
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
09 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
10 - 1/2 teaspoon table salt
11 - 1 box (3.4 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix

→ Mix-ins

12 - 1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet or dark
13 - 1 1/4 cups halved mini Reese's peanut butter cups, divided
14 - 1 cup mini Reese's Pieces, divided

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Get a baking sheet ready by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
02 - In a large bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until the mixture looks smooth and creamy. Add your eggs, honey, and vanilla, then mix everything together again.
03 - Grab another bowl and whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and pudding mix. Gradually add this to your peanut butter mixture, stirring just until you don't see any dry flour.
04 - Gently fold the chocolate chips, 1 cup of the peanut butter cup halves, and 3/4 cup of the Reese's Pieces into your dough. Make sure the candy gets spread throughout evenly.
05 - Use a 2-tablespoon scoop to portion out 36 dough balls. Press the remaining candy pieces into the tops so they look nice when baked.
06 - Put 12 dough balls on your prepared sheet, leaving space between them. Bake for 10 minutes. When done, let them sit on the hot pan for 2 minutes before carefully moving them to parchment paper to cool down all the way.

# Notes:

01 - Creamy peanut butter works best, though crunchy adds nice texture. Skip natural or oily peanut butter for this recipe.
02 - These cookies come out thick and puffy. They don't spread much because of all the candy pieces mixed in.
03 - If you want flatter cookies, gently tap the tops with a flat spatula right after baking. Be careful not to mess up the candy on top.
04 - To make bar cookies instead, press the dough into a greased 11x17 inch pan and bake at 350°F for 11-12 minutes.
