Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until well incorporated. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring until just combined.

Roll the dough into small balls and place each in a greased mini muffin pan.

Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Remove from the oven and quickly press a mini Reese’s cup into the center of each cookie.
