Roasted Stuffed Pears (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 pears.
02 - 2 teaspoons brown sugar.
03 - 4 tablespoons blue cheese, crumbled.
04 - 2 tablespoons honey.
05 - 8 walnuts, coarsely chopped.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C. Halve pears lengthwise leaving stems intact.
02 - Hollow out core in each half. Place cut-side up in baking dish.
03 - Sprinkle with brown sugar, cover with foil, bake 30 minutes until tender.
04 - Mix blue cheese, honey and walnuts in a small bowl.
05 - Fill pear hollows with cheese mixture. Bake uncovered 10-12 minutes until cheese melts.

# Notes:

01 - Best with sweet red pears.
02 - Adjust sugar if using tart pears.
03 - Serve warm.
