Sausage Brie Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed for 40 minutes.
02 - 8 oz Johnsonville Ground Italian Sausage (Sweet, Mild, or Hot).
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
04 - 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped.
05 - 2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped.
06 - 1 egg.
07 - 1 tbsp water.
08 - 1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce.
09 - 4 oz brie, rind removed and sliced.
10 - 1 tsp fresh sage, chopped (for garnish).

# Instructions:

01 - Thaw the pastry sheet for 40 minutes.
02 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
03 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage with garlic until browned. Add rosemary and sage; cook for 2 more minutes. Drain excess fat.
04 - Whisk together egg and water to make the egg wash.
05 - Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Brush with egg wash. Spread cranberry sauce over the pastry, followed by the cooked sausage, and top with brie slices.
06 - Carefully roll the pastry into a log and cut into 12 slices.
07 - Place slices on the prepared baking sheet, brush with remaining egg wash, and garnish with chopped sage. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
