Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
02 - 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
03 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
04 - ¼ cup water

→ Optional Add-ins

05 - Sliced onions
06 - Minced garlic
07 - Sliced potatoes
08 - Baby carrots
09 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water (for thickening sauce if needed)

# Instructions:

01 - Lightly spray or grease the inside of your slow cooker to prevent sticking.
02 - Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the bottom of the slow cooker. If adding onions or other vegetables, you can place some underneath the pork chops.
03 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and water until well combined and smooth.
04 - Pour the creamy ranch sauce over the pork chops, making sure each chop is evenly coated. If using minced garlic or additional seasonings, sprinkle them in now.
05 - Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and reach an internal temperature of at least 145°F.
06 - If you prefer a thicker sauce, about 30 minutes before serving, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water. Stir this mixture into the sauce in the slow cooker, cover, and continue cooking on high until thickened.
07 - Carefully remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and serve with the creamy sauce spooned over top. Pair with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, brown the pork chops in a skillet with a little oil before placing them in the slow cooker.
02 - Bone-in pork chops generally remain more tender and flavorful during slow cooking than boneless chops.
03 - You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for the cream of chicken soup for a different flavor profile.
04 - Add your favorite vegetables like potatoes, carrots, or onions to make this a complete one-pot meal.
