Cook spaghetti in boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.

Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook garlic 30 seconds. Add cream and cook until thickened. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper. Stir in parmesan until melted.

Toss cooked spaghetti with alfredo sauce. Spread in prepared baking dish.

Brown Italian sausage in skillet, drain fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce.

Spread meat sauce over pasta. Top with mozzarella cheese.

Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Optional: garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
