Process freeze-dried strawberries into powder. Optional: reserve 1 teaspoon for glaze.

Whisk strawberry powder with flour.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in flour mixture on low speed until combined.

Shape dough into disc, wrap in plastic. Chill 15 minutes.

Roll to 1/4 inch thick on floured surface. Cut shapes and place on lined sheet.

Chill cut cookies 15 minutes.
