Sugared Cranberries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 bag (12 oz.) fresh cranberries.
02 - 2 cups granulated sugar, divided.
03 - ½ cup water.

# Instructions:

01 - Check cranberries and remove any soft or wrinkled ones. Rinse and drain well.
02 - Mix ½ cup sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves but don't let it boil.
03 - Remove from heat and stir cranberries into the syrup until well coated.
04 - Set up a wire rack in a paper-lined baking sheet. Transfer cranberries with slotted spoon to rack. Let dry for 1 hour.
05 - Roll dried cranberries in remaining sugar until fully coated.
06 - Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

# Notes:

01 - If cranberries get watery during storage, roll them in sugar again to refresh.
02 - Save leftover syrup in fridge for cocktails or another batch.
