Brussels Sprouts with Cranberries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 cups Brussels sprouts, halved.
02 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
03 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
06 - 3 strips bacon.
07 - 1 small yellow onion, chopped.
08 - 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar.
09 - 1/3 cup dried cranberries.
10 - 1/4 cup sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F.
02 - Mix Brussels sprouts, oil, cinnamon, salt and pepper in bowl.
03 - Spread on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
04 - Cook bacon in frying pan over medium heat. Let bacon cool, then crumble.
05 - In the same pan, cook onions in bacon grease for 3-4 minutes.
06 - Add vinegar, cranberries, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and cook for 4-5 minutes more.
07 - Put roasted sprouts in a serving dish. Mix in the cranberry-onion mixture.
08 - Top with crumbled bacon. Serve hot.
