The Pizza Burger Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Base

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

→ For the Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce
09 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
11 - Additional toppings as desired (mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, etc.)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
02 - In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is thoroughly browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
03 - Spread the cooked beef mixture in the bottom of the pie crust. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the beef. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, and arrange the pepperoni and other toppings on top.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
05 - Let the pie rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot.

02 - For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the beef mixture
