Walking Taco Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ lbs ground beef
02 - 1 cup onion, chopped
03 - 3 oz cream cheese
04 - 1 packet taco seasoning
05 - 1 can green chilis
06 - 2-3 cups Fritos corn chips
07 - 1 cup shredded taco blend cheese
08 - 1 Roma tomato, chopped
09 - 1-2 cups shredded lettuce
10 - Salsa and sour cream for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F.
02 - Cook ground beef and onion in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned and onions are softened.
03 - Add taco seasoning, green chilis, and cream cheese, and sauté until cream cheese is melted and combined.
04 - Top with corn chips and shredded cheese.
05 - Bake for 20 minutes.
06 - Remove from oven, top with shredded lettuce and tomato, and garnish with salsa and sour cream.

# Notes:

01 - This casserole is inspired by the popular walking tacos (or taco-in-a-bag) served at sporting events and fairs.
02 - For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or use hot green chilis.
