Apple Crisp (Print Version)
Ingredients:

⅔ cup all-purpose flour.

⅔ cup old-fashioned oats.

⅔ cup light brown sugar.

½ tsp salt.

½ tsp ground cinnamon.

½ cup unsalted butter, melted.

6 cups peeled, thinly sliced apples (Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, or Fuji recommended).

3 tbsp apple juice (or orange juice).

¼ cup granulated sugar.

2 tbsp all-purpose flour.

¾ tsp ground cinnamon.

1 tsp pure vanilla extract.
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie plate or 9×9 square dish.

Mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Add melted butter and stir until combined. Chill while preparing the filling.

In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, juice, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix until everything is well coated.

Spread the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish. Crumble the topping evenly over the apples.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 25-30 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.

Allow the crisp to cool slightly and serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel if desired!.
